My Mission
I consider the very fact that you've chosen to browse my website and consider Michaela Cox Photography to photograph your special moments a HUGE honor! There is an endless sea of photographers out there, and I'll be the first to say, many with more talent. After shooting weddings for 5+ years, my mission has just become even more solidified with every year. The real reason I do what I do is because of YOU! I believe that every couple and individual has a beautiful and unique story worthy of telling. You aren't just another name on a project list. My heart is happiest when I get the opportunity to listen to you and get to know your soul. It's my greatest desire to form meaningful connection, serve you through my talents, and bring glory to God throughout the process. Through this longing to serve and my creative spirit, I realize the importance of providing you and an experience that goes above and beyond expectations of what you might have of a wedding photography. After all, I couldn't do this without you!

AN EMPHASIS ON YOUR VISION
You've spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort into crafting your wedding day into the way you want it. While I do have a consistent editing style that reflects my brand, I want your personal vision to shine through, rather than prioritizing what's trending on the 'gram.
NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF PHOTOS YOU RECEIVE
Have you ever wondered if couples are receiving all of the good shots? As a recent bride, I understand. While I do have a minimum photo delivery count, I do not have a limit. When you book a wedding with me, you can be sure that you're receiving all of the good stuff.
FLEXIBILITY AND CUSTOMIZEABLE PACKAGES
Hate feeling rushed? Most of us do! When I'm shooting a portrait session, one of my goals is to get a wide variety of shots for you. If that means going "over time" to do so, I'll do it in a heartbeat! When it comes to weddings or events with tighter timelines, I'm more than happy to customize my packages to fit your specific needs.

HANDMADE WEDDING KEEPSAKES
Long before I dove into photography, I've always been an artist. I've been drawing and crafting as soon as I could hold a pencil! As a unique way to commemorate your wedding day, I offer hand-drawn portraits of one of your photos, as well as handmade jewelry to showcase the colors and elements from the big day. Wearable memories- how cool is that?
UP-FRONT PRICING
If you're anything like me, you want to be able to get answered to your questions as soon as possible. Having to submit a contact form to wait for a company's pricing, and then trying to keep up with all of the different quotes can be stressful. I've cut the waiting out of the equation for you- all of my pricing is available right here on the website!
MOMENTS OVER MANUFACTURED
What do I mean by that? When it comes to the way I interact with you during your time in front of the camera, I like to give you prompts or activities over stiff poses. By getting you and your fiancé engaged (no pun intended) in an action, it creates candid and authentic moments that will, in turn, cause the both of you to relax and have fun!
RESPONSIVE AND PERSONABLE
Nothing is worse than being ghosted- especially by a wedding vendor. Wedding and portrait photography is my full-time job, meaning no matter when you need me, I'll be there to get back with you quickly. I love every opportunity I get to meet my clients in person, and you get unlimited access to me throughout the entirety of your wedding planning!
